Everything you already love about the Freel, but in a shorter 7" inseam. Same fabric, same prints, same great side pockets, but a slightly re-tooled fit to accommodate a shorter inseam.

Flamingos: We could tell you that we made this print because flamingos symbolize balance, harmony, and potential. But that would be a little white lie. We really just think they're cute and fun to draw. But, the symbolism part is pretty cool too!  

Alpine Bloom: Lupin flowers stand for imagination, admiration and overall happiness. The lupin brings out our inner strength and is one of the first and brightest flowers to bloom after the winter.

Desert Dream: Because we’re always dreaming of warm sunny days, red rocks and the endless good feels of the desert. 


Wild Rye ships via USPS for standard shipping, so please provide your PO Box address if that is how you get your mail (talking to you mountain town people!). Standard shipping is free for orders over $100. For more details on all of our shipping options, see below.

Our standard shipping option is USPS Ground Advantage, and is free for orders over $100, or $9 for orders under $100. This shipment method generally takes 3-7 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

USPS Priority Mail

Need to get your order a little faster? We offer USPS Priority Mail for $12. This shipment method generally takes 2-4 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

UPS 3 Day Select

Our UPS 3 Day Select shipping option is $25 for all domestic orders, and ensures that the package ships with UPS. Shipments can be expected to deliver 3 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method.

UPS 2nd Day Air

UPS 2nd Day Air is our fastest shipping option and costs $35. Shipments can be expected to deliver 2 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method. 

Standard International Shipping

International shipping is $25. Wild Rye does not cover duties, taxes and other fees determined by the customs agency within the destination country. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable.

First time trying shorter mtb shorts and they are a winner! Keeps you cool on the trail. Plus cute and stylish to just wear around whenever. No adjustable waist but they stayed in place and fit nicely based on the size chart.

So unbelievably cute! Love these for transitioning on and off the bike style. I’m normally an M and sized up after WR suggested that the material is a bit thicker and with less give sizing up to a 10 would be better and this was a good idea, given they’re a shorter cut. My only negative is that for the price I expected a more features like an adjustable waist.

Love these shorts! The patterns are great and they fit well. Wish the waistband had a touch of elasticity as they can be a tad tight while riding.

Love them, but they ride up

These shorts are made really well and are very flattering. The fabric is thick enough to feel durable, but not so thick that it’s noticeable. My only problem with them is that they ride up on my legs almost immediately. I was a little disappointed about this, as I can’t seem to find a pair of women’s MTB shorts that don’t ride up as I pedal. I was really hoping these were my ideal shorts. I’m 5’2” and 128 lbs and the size 4 fits perfectly. I plan to use these hiking as well and I don’t notice them riding up as I walk. These really are great shorts. Despite the issue while riding, I’m still ordering them in another color.
